We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as Postdoctoral Research Assistant on the H2020 funded “Living well, dying well. A research programme to support living until the end (iLIVE) https://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/220955/factsheet/en. You will work under the direction of the study PI’s (Prof JE Ellershaw and Dr SR Mason) co-ordinate and conduct the data collection for the UK arm of a large European Cohort Study. This will include: ensuring regulatory and ethical approvals are in place; preparing potential future amendments to study documentation; data management research study data across two sites studies using a variety of software packages; reporting on study progress; preparation of further applications for funding; participate in leading / supporting the Research staff within the Palliative Care Institute.
You should have a PhD (or very near completion) in a Health or Allied/Associated Science (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and have comprehensive IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher and have a Good Clinical Practice certificate.
The post is Fixed Term until 28 February 2022 (Likely to be extended until 31 December 2022).
